Revolutionizing Hematological Disease: Unraveling Genomic Mysteries with Optical Genome Mapping (OGM) Pre-Conference Workshop

Tuesday, July 9th – 8:00am – 11:00am

This interactive workshop will demonstrate how Optical Genome Mapping (OGM) can be integrated into the clinical cytogenetic workflow, as a companion tool for detection of chromosomal abnormalities at a much higher resolution. OGM has shown to be a powerful new technology that can lead to higher detection rates of abnormalities in cancer cytogenetics when correlated with traditional cytogenetic tests including FISH and G-banded chromosome studies. Cases studies will be used to examine the enhanced diagnostic capabilities of OGM for detection of structural variants in hematological malignancies.
Available for in-person registrants only.

Introduction to Real-Time PCR Pre-Conference Workshop

Tuesday, July 9th – 9:00am – 11:00am

This workshop is an introduction to real-time PCR chemistry, how to set-up reactions, and how to interpret results. There will be activities for real-time PCR to help illustrate the concepts involved with this technique.
Available for in-person registrants only.
